Hey everyone! I hope you're having a lovely day. So, if I had to choose a favorite dessert it would likely be cookie dough. I know, I know, it's not a 'real' dessert. And of course there's salmonella and all of that. BUT! I have a solution! This is my FAVORITE single serving recipe for cookie dough created out of many failed attempts. It's a combination of several recipes and turns out perfect every time (except sometimes I accidentally add too much flour (; ) But seriously guys, try this! It's extremely easy. This version is egg free, a bit healthier than your normal stuff and vegan! Of course you can always sub out the Earth Balance 'buttery spread' for real butter if you prefer but I've tried it both ways and it tastes the same. Here's the recipe!
1 tbsp Earth Balance buttery spread (or butter)
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
3 tbsp flour (I usually use whole wheat flour)
A pinch of salt
Chocolate chips (I used the 'enjoy life' brand)
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
3 tbsp flour (I usually use whole wheat flour)
A pinch of salt
Chocolate chips (I used the 'enjoy life' brand)
1. Melt the butter and mix in the maple syrup and vanilla with a fork.
2. Add the salt. Slowly mix in the flour a little bit at a time.
3. Add chocolate chips! As many as your desire :)
That's it! It takes less than 5 minutes. Enjoy and let me know how it turns out :)
**** For an even healthier version sub coconut oil for the buttery spread or butter :) I do prefer the Earth balance, but try it! It still tastes great.

Siena
