Hi everyone! A few years back I invested in a ukulele and I've never regretted it. I still play it constantly and it's an amazing way to engage people at bonfires and have an amazing time through music. I purchased a Kala ukulele and am completely satisfied with it.
If you've ever wanted to learn an instrument, I'd recommend ukulele. Not only is it a simple instrument to learn, but it's also extremely portable. Once you've learned basic chords, you can play all of your favorite songs! And, once you've learned how to add embellishments and depth to your playing you'll really impress people. ;)
Read on to discover the research I've done to decide what ukulele is best to purchase for a beginning player.
Lanikai Lu-21
This first ukulele is extremely popular among beginners and is said to be very reliable and made with great quality. It’s made of nato wood in a beautiful dark brown and it is actually much cheaper then more advanced ukuleles. Howevet, even though it is cheaper, it still produces a great sound.

Makala dolphin
This option is overall the cheapest and comes in a huge variety of colors. It's considered to be the best ukulele for its small price, but it doesn’t have the full sound that the Lanikai and Kala do.
